Independant Truckers Life

About Me

Im a 40 year old married father of one. I have been in the transportation industry in some sort all of my life. In 2003 I decided to become an Independant Trucker. I bought my first truck and started making a good living. Then, Hurricane Katrina came along and the price of fuel(diesel) went skyrocketing. Four months later I lost my truck because I only made enough to pay for the diesel I used. In 2007 I decided to try again. I bought another truck(paid it in full) and started out again doing real well. I was doing so good I went and got another truck and hired a driver. Then all of a sudden without any good reason the price of fuel started to rise again. Well here I am again, OUT OF BUSINESS. On top of that, the newest truck lost an engine. The money that I would have used to replace the engine with went to pay bills that would have normally been paid if fuel hadn't went through the roof. Now, my family and I am are struggling to get by day for day. No help availible from any source, i.e. Federal Government, State  Government, no one. So, I have created this website. Hopefully it will shed a little lite on the plight of the American Independant Trucker, the most ridiculed, overlooked, belittled person. Just remember, if you have it a trucker brought it.
